IPV provides venture capital and business support for early stage telecommunications, information technology, and electronic commerce companies with the potential to generate rapid growth in revenue, profitability, and shareholder value. We focus on businesses whose technology holds potential to fundamentally change markets. We seek companies who can cause an inflection point in demand -- who can introduce new, high value-added products and services, upset the status quo, and capture market leadership

We invest primarily in pre and post-revenue companies seeking their first round of equity financing. We prefer to lead or co-lead investments. Our initial investments range in size from $500,000 to $2,000,000. We expect the large majority of our investments to be located in the Mid-Atlantic states and New England.

We are active investors, and prefer situations where we can provide both strategic and tactical assistance to management. We usually participate on a company's Board of Directors, and typically find that we become one of management's most trusted business advisors. We contribute through our knowledge of technology, markets and business operations, and through our relationships. We help with recruiting, ongoing development of business plans, product management and distribution strategy, raising of additional debt and equity, and many of the other things that make a company successful.
